You've probably got a few of these in a keepsake box somewhere and you're afraid to touch them. Those old family photos, missing a corner, creased and worn with love, are the final copy of a moment in time irretrievable. I started restoring old images when I found this beautiful photograph of my late mother-in-law among my husband's things. I LOVED this image - she looked free and happy and enjoying life. I wanted it on the wall to celebrate her. And so, I learned the art of digitally reconstituting lost parts of images and repairing damage. Voila! Historical photographs, nearing disappearance, brought back to life.
If you have a valuable photograph that you'd like restored and digitized, write to us. We'd love to see what's among your most precious family photos.
